Job Summary
Senior leader (VP) to drive operational excellence across Barnes Aerospace’s global manufacturing and aftermarket operations. Lead Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives; standardize processes, performance management systems, and global operating procedures to enhance safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and profitability. Partner with regional operations, supply chain, and business leaders to standardize SIOP and planning processes; identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions across the global network. Oversee cross-site collaboration, performance data analysis, and benchmark-based improvements; develop site-level capabilities and capacity utilization to support network optimization and strategic investment prioritization. Responsibilities include implementing global quality standards aligned with aerospace OEM and regulatory requirements, and driving executive-level initiatives with a focus on organizational growth and customer performance. Requirements include 10-12+ years in Lean/Six Sigma-driven transformation in aerospace manufacturing/MRO, ability to influence across a matrix organization, strong communication and stakeholder management, and a Bachelor’s degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred). Executive presence and ability to drive priorities with senior leaders are essential.
