Job Summary
Spearhead long-range strategic planning, quarterly forecasting, and monthly outlook processes while developing integrated financial models for revenue, production, inventory, margins, and capital expenditures. Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decisions, evaluate growth initiatives, and optimize cash flow forecasting alongside Accounting and Treasury. Coordinate Board materials, executive reporting packages, and business reviews, presenting financial results, risks, and opportunities to executive and Board stakeholders. Direct Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Manufacturing Finance functions to improve cost performance, productivity, and margins through variance analysis and operational KPIs. Build a high-performing FP&A organization that supports a rapidly scaling manufacturing business, implementing best practices and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- 15+ years of progressive finance experience
- 7+ years in senior FP&A or corporate finance leadership roles
- Experience supporting manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, industrial technology, or other hardware-intensive businesses
- Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures, inventory management, capital planning, and operational finance
- Proven success driving enterprise planning, Board reporting, and strategic finance initiatives
- Experience building and managing high-performing finance teams in high-growth environments
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
Desired Qualifications
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent advanced credential
- Experience supporting fundraising, debt financing, IPO readiness, or public-company reporting environments
- Electric vehicle, automotive, mobility, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing experience
- Experience scaling finance organizations during periods of rapid growth
- Public company or pre-IPO experience
- Experience working directly with CEOs, CFOs, Boards of Directors, and investors
- Familiarity with ERP, planning, and business intelligence platforms such as NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, and Power BI
