Job Summary
VP, FP&A Advice & Wealth Management (AWM) & Insurance leads the FP&A function for AWM and Insurance, partnering with Distribution and Product leaders to drive client-centered growth, planning, forecasting, and performance analytics. Drives integrated planning and forecasting, provides strategic financial guidance to senior leadership, translates goals into financial plans, leads the Strategic Performance Analytics COE and shared service teams, and collaborates to align analytics with enterprise priorities. Responsibilities include leading strategic decision support, scenario modeling, cross-functional leadership, talent development, and overseeing technology and data strategies for analytics and forecasting. Desired profile includes extensive senior finance or actuarial leadership, strong communication, stakeholder management, and a track record of building high-performing teams; advanced degree and professional certifications are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance or actuarial
- 15+ years' experience in senior finance or actuarial leadership roles partnering with executives
- 10+ years' experience in finance leadership in the financial services industry including significant experience in wealth management
- Demonstrated analytical skills and knowledge and understanding of financial services business models
- A passion for leading people and a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
- Effective and mature communicator, able to convey intricate ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing
- Strong relationship building skills across the organization
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Proven track record as a consultative financial leader and trusted advisor
- Ability to anticipate accounting, financial reporting and operational issues
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving
- Ability to interact with all levels of management and employees with strong interpersonal skills
