Job Summary
Lead external SEC reporting for multiple public entities, including preparation and filing of 10-K/10-Q/8-K, proxy statements, and related materials; coordinate with fund finance, legal, HR, investor relations, and other corporate finance teams to ensure timely, accurate disclosures; manage GAAP disclosures, roll-forwards, and SEC filing reviews; oversee annual audits and quarterly reviews with external auditors; drive technical accounting research on new standards and evolving SEC requirements; develop and standardize internal/external presentations; advance automation and process improvements to strengthen internal controls and regulatory compliance; mentor and lead a high-performing finance team to sustain excellent financial reporting across a global platform.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Master’s degree in Accounting preferred
- CPA required
- 10+ years of progressive experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) + industry with substantial SEC reporting exposure
- Deep understanding US GAAP and SEC reporting and disclosure requirements
- Hands-on experience with Workiva highly desirable
- Exposure to Power BI or other business intelligence tools is a plus
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
