Job Summary
Partner APAC Global Content Studio leaders with financial insight to support strategic decisions and oversee ANZ Production financial management. Lead monthly management reporting, budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans, ensuring accurate submissions and regional consolidation with UK-based HQ teams. Develop financial models for production greenlights and investments while maintaining robust controls and automating reporting systems. Lead a small team of FP&A analysts and the Head of Production Finance, driving capability and compliance across APAC. Requires a professionally qualified accountant with senior FP&A experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to operate in a complex, matrixed international organization.
Required Qualifications
- Australian full working rights
- Degree qualified in Finance, Business, Accounting or a related discipline
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Senior FP&A or commercial finance experience
- Experience across APAC
- Experience within production, media or another project-based business
- Strong finance business partnering, communication and influencing skills
- Ability to build trusted relationships across regional and global teams
- Ability to work effectively across APAC and UK time zones
- Strong reporting, budgeting, forecasting, modelling and analytical capability
- Advanced Excel
- Experience of large ERP systems
- Experience operating in a complex, matrixed, multi-entity or international organisation
- Ability to translate complex financial information into clear commercial insight
- Proven people leadership
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to drive improvement
- Ability to deliver high-quality outputs with limited oversight
