Job Summary
Own the monthly and quarterly financial close, leading annual budgeting, multi-year operating plans, and rolling forecasts while serving as the primary finance business partner to commercial and operations leaders. Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity, and debt covenant compliance to optimize working capital across BMI's complex royalty distribution cycles. Design unified reporting packages for the Board and New Mountain Capital, implementing driver-based forecasting and building exit-ready financial infrastructure. Develop models to underwrite new revenue streams and evaluate ROI on technology and platform investments. Lead the finance team and systems build-out for Oracle, Adaptive Insights, and Power BI integration to support a scalable, data-driven function.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of FP&A and finance leadership
- VP-level experience in a PE-backed environment
- A proven builder: track record of constructing financial reporting infrastructure, not just managing it
- Experience with recurring revenue, licensing, subscription, or royalty/distribution models
- Experience with post M&A integration
- Advanced modeling, driver-based forecasting, and scenario analysis skills
- Treasury experience: cash forecasting, covenant compliance, banking relationships
- Strong communicator who translates financial complexity into clear executive and board-level narrative
- Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business required
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or CPA preferred
- Experience working for a SaaS company preferred
