Job Summary
VP, Enterprise Platforms Strategy at ULI to lead the strategic direction, architecture, and long-term evolution of its enterprise platform ecosystem (CRM/AMS, digital member platforms, marketing automation, finance and events systems, enterprise integrations, and the data/analytics infrastructure). Senior-level strategist partnering across Membership, Marketing, Finance, Events, Data & Analytics, and Enterprise Applications & Operations to translate priorities into platform strategy, establish standards and integration approaches, evaluate emerging technologies, and drive modernization. Responsibilities include defining long-term platform strategy, leading enterprise architecture and platform alignment, governing platform investments, overseeing vendor relationships, and guiding how requirements and priorities flow across pillars. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in enterprise platforms/CRM ecosystems, with strong communication skills, governance experience, and familiarity with CRM/AMS ecosystems (NetFORUM preferred). The role demands on-site collaboration with a strong emphasis on governance, roadmapping, and cross-functional leadership for a nonprofit association environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, technology management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience leading enterprise platforms, CRM ecosystems, enterprise architecture, or digital transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise technology strategy across a portfolio of interdependent platforms including CRM, digital engagement, analytics, and operational systems
- Strong understanding of CRM/AMS ecosystems (NetFORUM experience strongly preferred)
- Experience overseeing complex platform ecosystems including CRM, digital platforms, analytics, and integrations
- Demonstrated success facilitating cross-functional governance and decision-making related to enterprise systems and technology investments
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship management skills; able to engage and align both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to navigate organizational complexity, guide strategic trade-offs, and lead through change
