Job Summary
Lead scale-up from pilot to semi-industrial and later commercial production; oversee plant design, construction, and commissioning in coordination with suppliers, contractors, and partners; lead the ongoing work at a newly constructed small-scale pilot plant, including recruitment and onboarding of technical and operational staff; establish production systems, documentation, and quality control procedures; build and develop the production organization in line with company growth and industrialization strategy; ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and industrial regulations; identify and manage technical and operational risks during the scale-up phase.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, process engineering, or equivalent
- At least 8 years of experience in relevant engineering or industrial leadership roles
- Experience from building or scaling up new production facilities, taking projects from design through commissioning and into operation
- Deep understanding of process engineering, plant design, and industrial operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving start-up environment with limited structure and high ownership
