VP, Endpoint Platform Engineering

Job Summary
Define the long-term engineering strategy and technology roadmap for the Endpoint Platform while leading global software, platform, quality, and site reliability teams. Drive innovation across EDR, XDR, endpoint telemetry, behavioral analytics, identity protection, and AI-assisted security to build highly scalable cloud-native services capable of processing massive volumes of endpoint telemetry. Establish world-class engineering practices including DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, secure SDLC, and engineering metrics. Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional engineering leaders while building a culture of accountability, innovation, and inclusion within a globally distributed organization of 150+ engineers across North America and India. Report directly to the Chief Development Officer to accelerate engineering velocity, platform scalability, and customer value.
Required Qualifications
- 20+ years of software engineering experience
- at least 10 years in executive engineering leadership
- Experience leading globally distributed engineering organizations of 150+ employees
- Deep expertise in endpoint security
- Deep expertise in EDR/XDR
- Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures
- Deep expertise in distributed systems
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes
- Deep expertise in microservices
- Deep expertise in high-scale telemetry platforms
- Experience embedding AI/ML into enterprise software products
- Experience embedding Generative AI into enterprise software products
- Demonstrated success building engineering organizations through periods of rapid growth and transformation
