Job Summary
VP, E-Commerce leads Roots’ digital commerce across North America and international markets, owning the eCommerce P&L and driving growth through strategy, merchandising, and performance marketing. Responsible for forecasting, calendar management, market expansion, cross-functional partnership with Marketing, Retail, Product, IT, and Operations, and mentoring a cross-functional team across merchandising, paid media, retention/CRM, UX, and customer service. Focus areas include multi-year growth strategy, site merchandising and brand experience, full-funnel marketing across search/social/display/affiliate, CRM and loyalty, on-site experience optimization, and omnichannel enablement (BOPIS, ship-from-store, inventory visibility).
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or digital product, ideally in retail or consumer brands
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary digital teams and large P&Ls
- Deep understanding of eCommerce platforms, AI opportunities, analytics tools, and performance marketing channels
- Proven track record of driving measurable revenue growth through digital innovation
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for retail, product, and brand
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated experience driving results through people, performance analytics, and operational excellence

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
