Job Summary

Lead global DM1 commercialization strategy, launch readiness, and lifecycle planning for Dyne’s DM1 asset, shaping competitive positioning, value proposition, and access considerations. Drive cross-functional collaboration across medical, regulatory, supply, marketing, digital, and data, partnering with affiliate teams to prepare for launch execution and reimbursement readiness. Build and lead the DM1 Commercial Sub-Team within the Program Team, ensuring alignment across product profile, access, and launch planning, while engaging externally with KOLs and patient advocacy groups. Contribute to due diligence and business development efforts as needed. Requires extensive biopharmaceutical leadership experience, including 20+ years in the industry, 15+ years in commercialization and cross-functional leadership, and a record of delivering multiple launches (minimum of three). Rare-disease or neuromuscular experience strongly preferred; capable of translating complex data into strategic guidance and fostering high-performing teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific, medical, or business discipline required; advanced degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
  • 15+ years of commercialization and cross-functional leadership experience
  • Extensive experience leading global product launches, including a minimum of 3 launches
  • Rare disease experience strongly preferred; neuromuscular experience highly advantageous
  • Proven track record of delivering on business objectives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
  • Proven ability to steer assets from late-stage development through approval and launch
  • Experience influencing global and U.S. market access and reimbursement readiness
  • Demonstrated success developing global commercialization strategies
  • Experience collaborating across clinical, medical, regulatory, supply, and commercial functions
  • Ability to synthesize complex data to guide strategy
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder influence
  • Proven ability to inspire and mobilize high-performing teams
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to build strong external relationships (KOLs, advocacy, payers, regulators)
  • Comfortable leading through ambiguity and change
