Job Summary
Lead and grow Sosemo's SEO, GEO, AEO, and AI Search capability while defining service offerings, delivery frameworks, and quality standards. Drive continuous improvement across services, processes, and technologies, and serve as an executive strategic advisor for key client relationships. Lead major account planning and growth initiatives, support audits and business development efforts, and drive client retention and satisfaction. Define and execute the roadmap for AI-enabled SEO operations, overseeing workflow development and establishing governance standards for AI agents and automation. Transform agency IP into scalable operational systems, develop KPIs to measure efficiency and business impact, and represent Sosemo as a thought leader at conferences. Lead and mentor the SEO team, build training programs around search innovation and AI adoption, and create a culture of innovation and high performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Communications or related field
- 8+ years of SEO leadership experience
- Proven experience leading agency or enterprise SEO programs
- Deep understanding of technical SEO, GEO, AEO, analytics, and content strategy
- Experience managing teams, budgets, and client portfolios
- Strong business development and client relationship skills
- Experience leading digital transformation initiatives
- Experience implementing AI platforms, workflow automation solutions, or operational modernization programs
- Familiarity with Copilot Studio and Marketing automation platforms
- Strong understanding of AI governance, responsible AI principles, and quality assurance frameworks
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to work in NYC (office located at 26 Broadway, NYC)
Desired Qualifications
- Healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing experience is a plus
