VP/Director, Corporate Sales, Global Markets

Job Summary
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for Global Markets products, including foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives, commodities, and fixed income for Chinese corporate clients. Independently generate new business by identifying prospects and converting leads in line with the bank's credit appetite while cultivating strong relationships with Chinese client decision-makers. Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure, collaborating closely with trading, relationship managers, risk management, operation, and legal teams to ensure seamless transaction execution. Stay abreast of market trends and regulatory changes to proactively identify opportunities and prepare compelling proposals for prospective and existing clients. Ensure all sales activities adhere to internal policies and ethical standards while managing client portfolios to identify cross-selling opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in covering Chinese clients within Global Markets division
- Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets and growing client portfolios
- Good understanding of a wide range of Global Markets products, including FX, options, interest rate derivatives, fixed income and commodities
- Strong network of Chinese client relationships in Hong Kong/Chinas
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with different levels
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-oriented environment
- Native Mandarin and proficiency in English, Cantonese (both written and spoken)
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the financial industry
- HKMA Type 1 & Type 4 licensed

- Member of Treasury Markets Association (TMA)
- Holder of ECF on Treasury Management accredited by Treasury Markets Association
