Job Summary
VP Development & Construction for Critical Facilities in Dallas, TX. Lead data center development and construction projects from inception through Go Live, overseeing budgets, schedules, RFPs, contracts, and vendor coordination. Requires strategic leadership of contractors and consultants, adherence to regulatory and safety requirements, and a track record in data center/mission-critical facilities with GC/MEP/Civil/Structural expertise. Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and multi-project management capabilities; expected to grow the team with key hires in construction.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on complex data center or mixed-use critical facilities projects from inception to completion
- Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner or as a General Contractor
- Must be familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects
- Previous GC experience (Holder, Turner, DPR, HITT, etc.)
- Strong experience managing project budgets, schedules, and contracts
- Familiarity with design, development, and construction principles specific to mission-critical data center facilities – MEP / CSA : Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, Structural and Architectural
- Proficient in drafting agreements and reviewing contracts
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; experience with design software is a plus
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in the Military / Military Veterans a huge plus
