VP, Data Platforms

VP, Data Platforms responsible for the data platform, infrastructure, governance, and engineering services powering LendingClub’s business lines. Own the strategy, architecture, and operation of enterprise data and AI platforms to enable analytics, machine learning, operational decisioning, and business intelligence. Drive governance, reliability, and compliance, lead Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, and ML enablement, and partner with Product, Analytics, Risk, and business leaders to translate objectives into scalable platform capabilities. The role requires senior leadership and hands-on experience in modern cloud data ecosystems, with familiarity in Databricks, dbt, Fivetran, data catalogs, and AI/ML workflows. The position is based in San Francisco with a hybrid in-office schedule (in-person Tue–Thu). Relocation is offered based on job level. Travel as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong executive communication, experience operating within highly regulated financial services environments, and a track record of delivering enterprise data capabilities that accelerate decision-making while maintaining compliance.
