Job Summary
VP-level cybersecurity leadership role focusing on embedding risk-aware practices into business operations and strategy. Lead executive engagement to translate cybersecurity risk into business terms, advise on risk-based prioritization and remediation, ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards, and drive security strategy across products, applications, and third-party relationships. Responsibilities include delivering executive risk dashboards, aligning security policies with business priorities, promoting regulatory awareness, and guiding technology governance and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong executive communication, strategic thinking, and deep experience in information security and risk management within the financial services sector are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent work experience)
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Information Security, Cyber Risk, or Technology Risk roles
- 5+ years in the financial services or banking industry with working knowledge of regulations (e.g., GLBA, FFIEC, PCI, SOX)
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership and communicate complex technical risks in business terms
- Experience with cybersecurity governance frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001) and enterprise risk management practices
- Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and delivering cybersecurity solutions at scale
