Job Summary
Senior Credit/Counterparty Surveillance role overseeing daily monitoring of counterparties (swap and repo, Authorized Participants, FCMs, custodians, transfer agents, and firm vendors), plus regulatory updates, and approval recommendations for new counterparties based on risk standards. Develop and implement best practices, maintain an in-house data repository, and perform annual due diligence reviews. Daily surveillance of counterparties and brokers, financial modeling, and reporting to portfolio managers. Requires 5-7 years in credit analysis, strong Excel (VBA preferred), Bloomberg/Bridge/TradeWeb familiarity, and strong analytical and presentation skills. Hybrid work with 3 days in-office at Bethesda, MD headquarters; reporting to CIO with autonomy to establish a new credit framework.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree, Finance, economics, math, engineering, accounting, or related field.
