Job Summary
Evaluate loan documentation, analyze credit history, and determine repayment capabilities to originate profitable commercial loans up to $4,000,000. Manage existing portfolios of C&I and CRE relationships, ensuring timely handling of maturities, renewals, and compliance while monitoring repayment activities. Negotiate credit terms within Loan Policy guidelines and keep abreast of market conditions and regulatory changes to inform management recommendations. Generate leads for other business lines and participate in community activities to establish goodwill.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Finance or Business or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial lender
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, and computer skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Programs/Products
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, contracts, credit and financial documents as well as other legal documents as needed
- Ability to present, sell and service bank products as well as demonstrate professional knowledge of commercial lending
- Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities
- Understanding of credit underwriting and loan documentation
- Thorough understanding of all Bank products and services
- Knowledge of all related banking and compliance laws
