Job Summary
Lead the strategic direction of ambulatory nursing services across Northeast Georgia Health System, driving excellence in clinical quality, patient safety, and operational performance. Develop and execute system-wide nursing initiatives supporting growth and value-based care while partnering with physicians and operational leaders to improve access and care coordination. Champion evidence-based practice, oversee workforce planning and succession, and provide executive oversight of budgets and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and support technology adoption and telehealth expansion.
Required Qualifications
- Current Georgia RN license
- Master's degree required
- BSN plus Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
- 7–10 years of progressively responsible nursing leadership experience
- Proven success leading nursing operations in complex healthcare environments
- Experience in strategic planning, budget management, performance improvement, and organizational change
- National certification in a clinical or leadership specialty within two years of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or PhD in Nursing
- Ambulatory or outpatient leadership experience
- Magnet-designated organization experience
- Clinical information systems implementation experience
- Leadership roles within professional nursing organizations
