Job Summary
VP, Business Development leading CCMC's strategic growth in HOA/community-management sector. Responsibilities include overseeing lead generation strategies with Marketing, building a high-performing sales pipeline to exceed new business targets, cultivating relationships with HOA boards and community leaders, delivering tailored solutions, presenting compelling value propositions, negotiating and closing complex contracts, monitoring market trends and opportunities, and collaborating with Marketing, Community Operations, and Resident Experience to align with strategic goals. Requires 10+ years of sales experience, a bachelor’s degree (preferred), weekly travel for on-site engagements, and compliance with pre-employment screenings. Strong skills in relationship-building, negotiation, CRM (Salesforce), strategic planning, and cross-department collaboration. Leadership competencies to mentor a growing sales team and drive performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years of sales experience, preferably in real estate or community management
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field is preferred
- Willingness to travel weekly for on-site meetings
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, motor vehicle check, and credit check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Leadership and strategic sales planning experience
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- CRM as single source of truth
- Strong financial acumen relevant to community management
- High emotional intelligence and adaptability
