Job Summary
Senior-level role in DBS Global Financial Markets COO Office focused on integrating the securities trading business into the bank’s operations. Responsibilities include leading or supporting projects to align systems, processes, and workflows across business units; managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional delivery; coordinating with Front Office, IT, Risk, Compliance and Operations; overseeing vendor SLAs and post-integration continuous improvement; and driving cost management and strategic initiatives. Requires extensive experience with equity-based products, strong project-management and stakeholder-management capabilities, and a deep understanding of securities trading flows, post-trade processes, and risk controls.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience with equity-based products, including at least 3 years in project management
- Strong preference for investment bank equity trading experience, with exposure to electronic trading or fixed-income operations being a plus
- Proven experience in large-scale business integration, process transformations, or mergers within financial institutions
- Solid project management skills, specifically leading cross-functional teams during business integration processes
- Strong understanding of securities trading flow, systems, processes, trading platforms, post-trade processes, risk management systems, and financial products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex concepts and collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders and senior management
- Fulfillment of requirements under the Enhanced Competency Framework on Treasury Management is a plus
