Job Summary
Proactively serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise architecture decisions and develop technology vision with the CIO and business stakeholders. Lead the architecture and Core API engineering teams while defining the enterprise AI adoption strategy, identifying high-impact use cases across underwriting, claims, and IT operations. Conduct research on emerging technologies to recommend flexible, cost-effective solutions and oversee end-to-end system integrations. Liaise with vendors to select products meeting company goals and establish governance standards for responsible AI. Communicate architecture decisions to project teams and build competitive advantage through knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- 10 to 15 years of IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various cloud and AI/ML platforms
- Must have a demonstrated history of execution and fiduciary responsibility
- Demonstrated experience leading AI, machine learning, or generative AI initiatives from strategy through production deployment and governance
- 10+ years of experience in architecture and software engineering in commercial P&C industry
- Experience with core systems replacement and/or modernization (i.e. – Policy, Billing, Claims)
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience
