Job Summary
Vice President, Actuarial & Analytics leading pricing, ratemaking analytics, product development and portfolio steering across Property, Casualty and Financial Line products; responsible for building and maintaining pricing models, delivering rate indications, guiding program performance through data-driven insights, and engaging senior stakeholders. Will mentor the actuarial team, collaborate with underwriters and partners, and drive innovation in actuarial science using SQL/R/Python/Excel/PowerBI; requires 10+ years actuarial experience, ACAS/FCAS, and a quantitative Bachelor's degree, with strong communication and leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an actuarial or insurance role
- ACAS or FCAS or international equivalent
- Strong understanding of basic and advanced ratemaking and reserving techniques and principles
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Engineering, etc.)
- SQL, R, Python, Excel, PowerBI
- Ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic thinker with ability to influence business decisions and drive innovation
