Job Summary
Lead the Actuarial & Analytics function, providing pricing/ratemaking analytics, product development, and portfolio steering across Property, Casualty and Financial Line products. Design, enhance, and maintain pricing models and raters; perform rate indications and quantify rate adequacy; evaluate program performance and deliver data-driven insights to improve results. Drive product strategies, collaborate with senior leaders, underwriters, and external partners, and mentor junior team members while employing SQL, R, Python, Excel, and PowerBI to communicate complex actuarial concepts to non-specialists.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an actuarial or insurance role
- ACAS or FCAS or international equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Engineering, etc.)
- Strong understanding of basic and advanced ratemaking and reserving techniques and principles
- Ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously
- Self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex actuarial concepts to non-specialists
- SQL, R, Python, Excel, PowerBI
