Job Summary

VP, Account Services leads cross-functional teams and client relationships for pharmaceutical medical communications accounts, directing strategy development, multichannel marketing initiatives, and revenue growth. Responsibilities include managing client satisfaction, developing and defending SOWs, overseeing budgets and contracts, mentoring Account Services personnel, driving new business opportunities, and representing the agency in client presentations and executive communications. The role requires senior-level leadership, strategic planning, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to travel for client engagements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years’ agency experience in pharmaceutical medical communications and account services
  • Demonstrated history of successful management of 5+ million dollars of fee/year specific to a pharmaceutical medical communications agency
  • Experience managing and mentoring Account Services personnel
  • Ability to travel as client needs require (e.g., client meetings, congress meetings, sales meetings)
  • Ability to attend and conduct virtual or in-person presentations
