Job Summary
VP, Account Executive - Client Service on Guidepoint's Institutional Healthcare Client Service team, a hybrid role based in New York City. Responsible for owning a portfolio of long-standing client accounts, leading contract negotiations and pricing discussions, driving upsell/cross-sell and package expansions, meeting clients in person and virtually, activating new users within client organizations, developing account growth strategies with service leadership, monitoring usage trends to prevent churn, serving as a senior point of contact for escalations, and partnering with client service teams to ensure flawless delivery and client satisfaction. Requires experience in account/relationship management or consultative sales, a proven renewals/contracts track record, and strong executive-level relationship skills; AI fluency and responsible use of AI-enabled tools are highlighted as part of the role. Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in account management, relationship management, or consultative sales
- Proven track record managing renewals and negotiating contracts
- Demonstrated success driving upsell and cross-sell revenue
- Experience managing mid-sized to large B2B client portfolios
- Strong executive presence and ability to build C-level relationships
- Comfortable conducting in-person client meetings
