Job Summary
Oversee the timely and accurate execution of the accounting cycle for allocated dealerships within the division while developing insights and analysis to enable accurate financial and operational decision-making. Manage finance team members and demonstrate strong technical expertise combined with commercial awareness in a motor industry environment. Requires ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification, proficiency in MS Excel, and dealer management systems knowledge. Hybrid Glasgow-based role with travel flexibility to Stockport, subject to a six-month probation period.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience as an Accountant
- Experience leading and managing finance team members
- Track record of good performance in a commercial finance environment
- Strong technical expertise combined with commercial awareness
- Expert proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong working knowledge of the Motor Industry
- Strong working knowledge of Dealer Management systems
- Strong communication and relationship building skills

- Forward thinking and proactive attitude
- Hybrid: Glasgow-based with flexibility to travel to Stockport when required or vice/versa
- 6 month probation period
