Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate volunteer on-boarding, data management, and activities to support World Relief Western WA's vision of welcoming newly arrived refugees and immigrants. Recruit volunteers based on current needs across departments, review applications, and lead training for new or returning volunteers prior to placement. Process background and driving checks, update volunteer data in Dynamics, and approve hour records in Track It Forward. Connect with the Home Office for policy updates, develop training courses, and facilitate meetings, events, and workshops. Collaborate with coordinators to adapt programs to changing needs and actively contribute to outreach team meetings and promotional activities. Create evaluation tools to measure program impact and participant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Mature and personal Christian faith
- Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
- Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
- Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Association of Evangelicals' For the Health of The Nation document
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and sensitively with people of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds
- Familiarity with trauma informed responses and cultural humility
- Flexible schedule for some evening and weekend volunteer trainings and events
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years' experience with volunteer or program management
- Experience with data management and reporting
- Valid driver's license, access to reliable vehicle and ability to pass MVR standards
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience preferred
- High attention to detail and experience with data tracking and reporting
- Strong organizational and data management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects at one time
- Advanced computer knowledge, including MS Office suite and the ability to learn new programs
- Comfortable with group presentation and training
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate across cultures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Initiative and ability to work independently
