Job Summary
Volunteer Steward serving through AmeriCorps at Kids' Food Basket in Grand Rapids, MI. Focuses on recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers; expanding programming across food access, education, agriculture, and community engagement; service term Sept 14, 2026 – Sept 10, 2027 with 900 service hours (~20 hours/week). Living allowance of $16,200 annually with Segal Education Award upon completion; eligible for student loan forbearance. Travel to partner sites occasionally. Responsibilities include developing volunteer systems, retention, recognition, and expanding capacity for Sack Supper distribution and community programming; participation in AmeriCorps trainings and monthly meetings.
Required Qualifications
