Volunteer Services Senior Specialist

Develop and implement broad-based recruitment strategies to attract and identify Red Cross volunteers for regional mission-critical activities. Conduct general and targeted outreach through various resource pools, networks, and digital media to obtain volunteer applicants, while maintaining accurate records of leads and producing status reports. Perform screenings, referrals, and placement of prospective volunteers to support regional goals, and identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key volunteer recruitment agencies and organizations. Evaluate and modify recruitment strategies based on lessons-learned, provide coaching to volunteer teams, and review satisfaction data to develop retention strategies. Assist in scheduling orientations and meetings, execute the Event Based Volunteer plan, and conduct thorough volunteer needs assessments to ensure alignment with established objectives.
