Job Summary
The Volunteer Rehab Member serves at the discretion of the Fire Chief, performing assigned duties, maintaining physical and mental health, and being familiar with District policies. Essential knowledge includes CPR, first aid, public relations, and personal protective equipment. Responsibilities include attending meetings, responding to incidents, and using the 'Active 911' app for notifications. Candidates must pass necessary certifications and maintain at least five shifts per month.
Required Qualifications
- Pass the pre-employment drug and alcohol tests
- Successfully complete NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800
- Successfully complete the probationary six (6) month period
- Maintain current CPR certification
- Possess and maintain a current Texas Class C or higher-level Driver's License or equivalent
