Job Summary
Support our care team behind the scenes with light data entry, assembling packets, and organizing special memories for patients. Visit patients to offer companionship through reading, hobbies, games, and listening. Share the love of your certified therapy pet to bring joy and emotional support. Use your musical gifts to brighten patients' days and provide comfort to healthcare staff. Connect with fellow veterans, provide companionship, and participate in meaningful ceremonies to honor veteran patients. This volunteer opportunity requires a heart for serving others, compassion, empathy, and the ability to pass background check requirements. No hospice experience is needed; volunteers must be certified and vaccinated if bringing a pet.
