Job Summary
Support the care team by assisting with light data entry, assembling patient packets, and organizing special memories. Visit patients to offer companionship through reading, games, and listening. Share joy as a certified therapy pet, musician, or veteran volunteer. Provide comfort to patients and staff while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach. No compensation is provided for volunteer time.
Required Qualifications
- A heart for serving others and an appreciation for the hospice mission
- Demonstrates compassion, empathy, and deep respect for individuals and their unique journeys
- Welcomes and values people of all backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs
- Must be able to pass background check requirements
