Job Summary
Support the care team in administrative offices through light data entry, assembling patient packets, and sending cards to family members. Organize special memories for patients by sewing memory bears or blankets. Visit patients to offer companionship, reading, hobbies, and games while giving caregivers a break. Share the love of a certified therapy pet to provide emotional support to patients. Use musical talents to brighten patients' days and comfort healthcare staff. Connect with fellow veterans to provide companionship and participate in meaningful ceremonies. Requires a heart for serving others, compassion, empathy, and the ability to pass background checks. No compensation is provided for volunteer time.
