Volunteer - Hospice Patient Friendly Visitor

Provide respite, friendly visits, or essential services such as errands and light housekeeping to patients and families in-home, at the Inpatient Unit, or in Long Term Care Facilities. Offer emotional support, companionship, and supportive listening while serving as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team. Assist with input to the plan of care, document visit activity accurately, and maintain open communication with the volunteer coordinator. Participate in bereavement follow-ups, complete mandatory annual education, and assist in training new volunteers. Adhere to all policies and health requirements.
