Volunteer Fundraising Director
Job Summary
Volunteer Fundraising Director focusing on developing and implementing a fundraising strategy to secure revenue for the Aparecio Foundation. Responsibilities include writing grant proposals, direct mail campaigns, securing endowments, cultivating major donors, hosting fundraising events, researching donors/stakeholders, planning projects, maintaining donor databases, coordinating events with the fundraising committee, recruiting/managing volunteers, executing event logistics, building relationships with clients/government/media, communicating fundraising plans to target audiences, supervising fundraising staff, and managing the fundraising budget. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 2–4 years non-profit/fundraising experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; fundraising knowledge and donor-database familiarity are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Two to Four years related non-profit/fundraising experience
- Demonstrated sales experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (donor contact database knowledge a plus)
