Job Summary
Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun for girls ages 6-14. Teach and demonstrate core concepts including sportsmanship values while consistently demonstrating a positive attitude and superior customer service skills. Communicate game day information to players and parents using established platforms. This role offers a team-based atmosphere with a focus on fun, providing opportunities to build coaching skills and be a role model. Volunteers impact the lives of young athletes through online training opportunities. The season runs from July 12 to August 30, October 18 to December 6, and January through March or April through June.
Required Qualifications
- Female volunteers
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
- Ability to volunteer on weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
- Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
Desired Qualifications
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently
