Job Summary
Coordinate and train volunteers, recruit volunteers, and manage partner relationships to support the Food Bank’s network and the College Corps fellowship program. Lead volunteer events both on-site and off-site (drive-through, pop-up, walk-up distributions); conduct community outreach to boost participation; supervise volunteers during activities; maintain volunteer management systems and track hours and program details; assist the Volunteer Director with implementing new initiatives and reporting; respond to inquiries and support additional special projects. Emphasizes collaboration, professionalism, and safe, efficient operations to strengthen volunteer impact and drive hunger-relief programs.
Required Qualifications
- Prefer 2 years’ College-level coursework completed.
- Experience in volunteer recruitment or event management desired.
- 1-2 years experience with Social Service Agency preferred.
- Great public speaking, oral and written skills.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office and Google platform.
- Bilingual, English/Spanish or other languages preferred, but not required.
