Job Summary
Sort donated goods into saleable and non-saleable categories, box excess and high-end products for the National Distribution Centre, and tag and process stock for the shop floor. Steaming items and moving boxes with manual handling up to 10kg are required. This back-of-house role supports the broader Red Cross retail network by contributing large quantities of saleable product to nation-wide sales while rescuing pre-loved clothing from landfills. You will help raise vital funds to support vulnerable people across Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 hour commitment each week
- You must be at least 15 years of age (QLD – You must be 16)
- Completing a National Police check
- You will also be required to complete an Induction into our organisation and Retail program
- Moving boxes and manual handling up to 10kg will be required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience sorting donated goods is desirable but not required
