Job Summary
Coordinate and manage all volunteer activities for the New Braunfels Corps, including recruiting, screening, training, placing, and recognizing volunteers; develop relationships with high-level volunteers and organizations to create revenue and in-kind generating programs; plan and execute annual volunteer appreciation events; maintain up-to-date volunteer records; operate non-DOT vans/trucks to collect gifts and transport to the Christmas warehouse or Corps locations; coordinate volunteer schedules and routes; communicate with social services and shelter services to align volunteer needs and programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university related in Business Administration, Non-Profit Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Two to three years progressively responsible experience overseeing special events and/or volunteer-related activities or Any equivalent combinations of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Valid State Driver's License
