Job Summary
The Volunteer Coordinator - PRN will manage the recruitment and training of volunteers, ensuring compliance with hospice philosophy and regulations. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to foster effective relationships with volunteers and the community. Key responsibilities include collaboration with the interdisciplinary group (IDG) and administration, compliance with laws relating to volunteers, and timely documentation. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and experience with EMR software.
Required Qualifications
- Current driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Demonstrates good communication, interpersonal, and public relations skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in recruitment & management of volunteers
- Working knowledge of volunteer program resources
- Experience with EMR software
