Job Summary
Coordinate and grow the organization’s volunteer program by recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers across programs; identify new volunteer opportunities with staff; manage volunteer data in Salesforce; plan and manage large-scale volunteer and community events; represent the organization at external recruitment events; and collaborate with teams to ensure adequate volunteer coverage and effective program operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years of experience in volunteer coordination and management
- Demonstrated ability to assess prospective volunteers and match them with opportunities
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM platform
- Occasional evening and weekend responsibilities are required
