Job Summary
Coordinate JVS volunteer program across recruitment, onboarding, training, tracking/database management, recognition, and communication; supervise volunteer interns; serve as primary point of contact for volunteers; develop and implement outreach and engagement strategies, orientation and training sessions, retention initiatives, and regular reporting on volunteer metrics; manage volunteer records and use volunteer management software/CRM to streamline recruitment and communications; contribute to monthly Volunteer Voice newsletter and support organizational mission, values, and policies through ongoing volunteer support and community outreach; travel to community events as needed and coordinate inquiries from external entities about JVS.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in social work, human service field and/or volunteer management
- Minimum combined 1-3 years working with immigrant populations and/or vulnerable populations
- Previous experience working with refugees is strongly desired
- Supervision experience required
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and clean driving record
