Job Summary
Volunteer Coordinator will lead volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, communication, and engagement efforts to support Illumination Health + Home’s mission. Responsibilities include building and maintaining a strong volunteer pipeline, coordinating participation for programs and events, tracking volunteer hours, preparing reports, and serving as a point of contact for inquiries. The role collaborates with Communications and Development, supports onboarding, training materials, volunteer scheduling, logistics, and appreciation, and involves data management and evaluation of volunteer experiences. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are essential, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends. Located in Santa Ana, CA with a Mon-Fri schedule (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM). The organization emphasizes compassion, dignity, and safety for individuals experiencing homelessness, operating across multiple facilities in Orange County, Los Angeles County, and the Inland Empire.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Comfortable speaking with and engaging diverse groups of individuals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general database/data entry systems
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment
