Volunteer Coordinator (2026-2027) - Bullitt Lick Middle School

Coordinate a vibrant volunteer program by surveying the local community for available volunteers and making personal contact via letters, phone, or meetings to recruit participants. Acquaint teachers with the benefits of the program, develop and distribute literature to inform parents, and serve as a liaison between the school, students, support groups, and community members. Plan, organize, and implement the program while monitoring effectiveness, arranging periodic conferences with volunteers and staff to address successes and problems, and facilitating special gatherings. Provide specialized services regarding the school, district, and students in relation to parents and the community. Arranges periodic recognition for volunteer services. This part-time role supports Bullitt Lick Middle School's mission to create inclusive learning environments where students feel empowered.
