Job Summary
Volunteer: Board Strategy Director oversees development of business plans for the Aparecio Foundation, establishes goals and action plans, analyzes impact and implements best practices, evaluates progress with board consultation, and supports fundraising, marketing, recruitment, and community partnerships. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree, strong organizational and communication skills, leadership ability, attention to detail, and a passion for women’s education and economic opportunities. This is an unpaid internship based in the Chicago Loop area with in-person collaboration; opportunity to gain mentorship and exposure across the fashion/non-profit sectors while contributing to Hasana, Inc.’s mission and the Aparecio Foundation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related area
- Strong organization skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Leadership ability
- Keen attention to detail
- Passion for women’s education and economic opportunities
