Job Summary
Provide strategic oversight of finances to ensure sustainability and maximum social impact. Support the board in understanding financial position, risks, and opportunities while reviewing budgets with the Finance Director and CEO. Attend bi-monthly board meetings in Rotherham and occasional sub-group discussions, plus yearly external audit meetings. Liaise with senior leadership between meetings to maintain fiscal governance. This voluntary Treasurer role offers expense reimbursement and participation in a passionate leadership team guiding a resilient charity into a financially secure future.
Required Qualifications
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong on financial literacy
- Understanding of the nuances of working in a charity, housing, or regulated care environment
