Volunteer Assistant Golf Coach

Volunteer Assistant Golf Coach supports the head coach by assisting with one or more sports, promoting school and community involvement in athletics, helping plan the athletic program, organizing and supervising practices, teaching fundamental skills, team strategy, and sportsmanship, checking participant eligibility and insurance/parent consent, and serving as a positive role model. The role involves providing guidance, conducting learning experiences with student athletes under coach direction, recommending equipment and uniforms as needed, and adhering to school board policies and the Professional Code of Ethics. Requires assisting with supervision of students and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds as part of duties.
