Volunteer Assistant Girls Basketball Coach responsibilities include assisting the Athletic Director with scheduling, transportation, and tournament/event logistics; supervising staff and volunteers; enforcing athletic policies; designing and delivering staff clinics and meetings; training and mentoring staff; managing equipment, facilities, and inventory; ensuring student-athlete eligibility and compliance with academic expectations; coordinating with parents, media, boosters, and the community for sport promotion; handling paperwork for injuries and required releases; coordinating recruitment and promotion of the sport; and providing guidance and support during practices and games. Presence at all practices and games is required. Qualifications include a teacher license being strongly preferred, coaching experience in the sport, and strong communication and organizational skills. Location is Hickory, North Carolina, USA.
