Job Summary
Assist in coaching and developing throwers in shot put, discus, hammer throw, and javelin by providing technical instruction and event-specific feedback during practices and competitions. Help plan and implement daily training sessions under the direction of the Head Coach while supporting athlete recruitment, talent evaluation, meet preparation, and competition-day coaching duties. Promote a culture emphasizing academic success, character development, and athletic excellence while adhering to all NAIA, conference, and university policies. Availability includes afternoon practice times and selected weekends for competitions, with flexible scheduling depending on experience.

Desired Qualifications
- Collegiate throwing experience and/or coaching experience
- Strong knowledge of throwing event technique, training principles, and event-specific strength development
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with student-athletes
- Passion for mentoring and developing young people
